What regular maintenance does an HVAC system require and how often should it be serviced?

We highly recommend having your HVAC system be serviced twice a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall. At minimum, furnaces do need to be serviced one a year to obtain their warranty.

Please ask us about our maintenance plans with the purchase of a qualified A/C unit.

How often should I change my filters?

We recommend if you are using a non-pleated filter that you change your filter once a month. This is important as air filters trap pet hair, dust, and other irritating particles so that your AC system can deliver fresh clean air back into your home.

How often should I change my thermostat batteries?

We recommend checking your batteries once a month and replacing them once every year. Not replacing the batteries can result in the thermostat losing power and potentially affecting the heating or cooling system's functionality.

How much does a new HVAC system cost?

Pricing is going to vary depending on size and brand of the HVAC system, the size of the home, as well as other factors such as duct work and materials needed.
